Georgy Viktorovich Lopashov (May 17, 1912 – January 27, 2010) was a distinguished embryologist known for his research in eye development. He was among the signatories of the 'Letter of Three Hundred' and received prestigious awards, including the A. O. Kovalevsky Prize from the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1961 and the N. K. Koltsov Prize from the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2003.
