Czesław Stanisław Zdanowicz, known by the pseudonym 'Nieśmiały', was a Polish Army captain and partisan with the Home Army during World War II. He participated in several significant battles, including those for Iwieniec and against the German operation 'Hermann'. Zdanowicz was also involved in the Warsaw Uprising and was captured after the battle near Jaktorów. For his wartime contributions, he was recognized as an Honorary Citizen of the Gmina Świebodzin in 2015.
