Sharipa Zhorobekova (born January 13, 1945, in Frunze) is a prominent Kyrgyz chemist, holding a Ph.D. in chemistry since 1988 and becoming a professor in 1990. She was appointed an academician of the Kyrgyz National Academy of Sciences in 2000 and received the title of Meritorious Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2009. Zhorobekova has contributed significantly to the field with over 250 scientific works, including 12 monographs and 20 patents, and has held various academic and administrative positions.
