Archbishop Andrey, born Dimitrios Anestis on September 24, 1915, in Kolaka, Phthiotis, was a prominent bishop of the Greek Old Calendarist jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Church. He served as the Archbishop of Athens and all of Greece and was the chairman of the 'Matfeyevsky' Synod from 1967 until his death on October 4, 2005, in Athens, Greece. His leadership played a significant role in the Old Calendarist movement during his tenure.
