Fyodor Vasilyevich Petrov was a Ukrainian poet born on March 8, 1923, in the village of Lubyanka, Borodyansky District, Kyiv Oblast. He was recognized as an outstanding figure in public education and became a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine in 1964. Petrov made significant contributions to Ukrainian literature until his passing on July 23, 2009.
