Werner Schütze was a German physicist born on March 18, 1911, in Berlin. He was a prominent figure in the development of mass spectrometric methods for isotope separation of uranium. Schütze also designed the mass spectrometer MC-1, which contributed significantly to advances in physical chemistry and nuclear research. His work played a vital role in the scientific community regarding isotope analysis throughout his lifetime, which lasted until 2001.
