Mykhailo Pavlovych Parneta (born August 8, 1924 - died July 20, 2017) was a Ukrainian surgeon known for his contributions in the medical field. He received several prestigious awards including the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Order of Friendship of Peoples, and the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (3rd class). In 2002, he was honored as a Distinguished Doctor of Ukraine and became an honorary citizen of Kremenchuk in 2004 for his exceptional personal contributions to the city. He also received the Order of Merit (3rd class) in 2009.
