Ağası Artaki Darbinyan was an Armenian public figure born on October 2, 1906, in Van, Ottoman Empire. He was the son of the Armenian national liberation figure and journalist Artak Darbinyan. From 1950, he was a member of the Board of the Union of Armenians in France, founded in Paris in 1949. He initiated and sent numerous Armenian cultural values to his homeland, including works by renowned artists and archives of notable figures like Hovhannes Aivazovsky and Siamanto.
