He serves as the Deputy Mayor of Virovitica-Podravina County and is the founding president of several Serbian organizations in Virovitica. He is the president of the Coalition 'Serbian Unity,' the Community of Serbs in Northwest Croatia, and the Serbian Cultural and Educational Society 'Prosvjeta.' Since 2011, he has been the President of the Council of the Serbian National Minority in Virovitica.
