Chen Liansheng (originally named Wu Liangxu) was a Chinese Taoist priest born on October 25, 1917, in Shanghai. He served as the vice president of the China Taoist Association and the president of the Shanghai Taoist Association. He was also the abbot of the Shanghai City God Temple. His contributions to Taoism in China were significant, and he played a prominent role in promoting and preserving Taoist traditions.
