Pan Hsiao-jui (June 25, 1920 – August 13, 2013) was a Chinese entrepreneur born in Fuzhou, Fujian. A member of the Kuomintang, he served as an intelligence officer under Dai Li during World War II. After the Nationalist Government retreated to Taiwan, he became known as the 'King of Shipbreaking' in Kaohsiung. Pan later founded the Regal Hotel and served as chairman of the Nanfeng Steel Company, contributing significantly to the Buddhist organization Fo Guang Shan.
