Alexander Vasilievich Olkhovikov (January 17, 1941 – January 30, 2015) was a Soviet naval officer and commander of the first strategic heavy nuclear missile submarine TK-208. He was a Hero of the Soviet Union, awarded on February 2, 1984, for courage and heroism during service. A rear admiral by rank, he served in various capacities within the Northern Fleet, including a record-setting underwater mission. After retiring in December 1995, he passed away in Moscow and was buried at Troekurovsky Cemetery.
