Martin Döscher was a German politician from the DP, born on October 18, 1905, in Köhlen. He worked as a farmer and became the mayor of Köhlen on December 28, 1948, serving until 1972 when he passed the role to his son. Additionally, he held the position of district councilor for the Wersermünn district from 1952 to 1972. In 1968, Döscher received the Max-Eyth-Denkmünt award. He was married and his son, also named Martin Döscher, followed in his political footsteps.
