M. Parvathinathasivam (January 14, 1936 – March 5, 2013) was a poet, journalist, and Tamil scholar from Jaffna. He pursued a doctoral course at Annamalai University. Known for his ability to compose great poetry in a simple style, he was influenced by prominent literary figures such as his grandfather, the orator M.K. Verpillai, and his great-grandfather, poet M.V. Thirugnanasampanthapillai.
