D. S. Sadasivam (March 15, 1938 - February 5, 2012) was an Indian writer, translator, and actor from Tamil Nadu. He was known for his contributions across various fields including art, literature, and progressive political movements. He acted in numerous films and over ten television series, often portraying character roles. In 1997, he received the Sahitya Akademi Award for translating the acclaimed Kannada novel 'Chandragiri Arangakkar' by Sara Abubakar.
