M. Thambirajah (born December 2, 1942) is a Malaysian Indian education activist dedicated to improving educational opportunities for Indians in Malaysia. He founded the Sri Murugan Educational Centre and has played a pivotal role in creating 16,000 Indian graduates over the past 30 years. Thambirajah organizes educational pilgrimages for Indian students each year, promoting the message that education is crucial for community upliftment. He builds hostels and educational centers for underprivileged students, ensuring they are prepared for further studies in both local and foreign universities.
