Anton Keser (1915-1978) was a musician and puzzle creator born in Brusovača kod Karlovca. He began engaging in enigmatism in 1939 and published his first crossword in 1940 in Zagreb's 'Zagonetka'. Keser contributed to many post-war puzzles publications, mainly in Sarajevo's 'Mali novina' and 'Oslobođenje'. He authored over 5,000 puzzles, including thematized crosswords and rebuses. He was a member of the EU 'Čvor' since January 1970, and sometimes used the pseudonym Ank for his works.
