Otar Georgievich Andjaparidze (February 12, 1920 – May 27, 1996) was a notable Soviet and Russian virologist known for his contributions to the field of virology. He served as the indispensable director of the Institute of Viral Preparations of the USSR RAMS in Moscow for several decades. In 1979, the institute was named after him, recognizing his foundational role in its establishment and development.
