Choi Young-hee, born on July 20, 1950, is a women's rights activist and child and youth expert in South Korea. She entered politics after being elected as a proportional representative for the Democratic Party in the 2008 general elections. Choi has worked with the Christian Urban Industrial Mission and has served as the representative of Seoktap Publishing and Tomorrow Newspaper. She founded the Tomorrow Women’s Center for Youth in 1995 and was the inaugural and last chairperson of the National Youth Commission, which integrated various governmental youth functions, in 2005.
