Кәрібай Ахметбекұлы (February 12, 1940 - 2005) was a Kazakh satirist and writer from the Sarysu district of the Zhambyl region. After finishing school, he worked as a senior pioneer leader and shepherd. He graduated from the faculty of philology at Kazakh State University in 1964. Throughout his career, he contributed to various newspapers and journals, served as a literary editor, and held positions in the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, as well as work in film production and publishing.
