Zeytin Akyshev (April 18, 1911 – 1991) was a Kazakh writer and translator from the Turtuyl clan of the Naiman tribe. He completed the worker's faculty in Omsk in 1938 and worked as an administrator and teacher in various educational roles. His first poem was published in 1930, and he authored several stories, novellas, and dramas, some of which were translated into Russian. Akyshev also served as a senior editor in educational publishing and as a translator-editor in government and encyclopedic roles.
