Mohammad Sultan (born December 23, 1918, in Afghanistan) was an Afghan field hockey player who represented Afghanistan at the 1936 Summer Olympics. He played in all four matches of the tournament, leading his team to a joint fifth place despite only taking up the sport five years prior. Sultan, a member of the Durrani royal dynasty through marriage, held the title of Shahzada (prince) until his death in 1971. He later became the chief of the Punjab Police, known for having some of the world's best field hockey players.
