Sen Tomiko (千登三子), born on July 27, 1930, was a prominent Japanese tea master and the 15th head of the Urasenke tea school. She played a significant role in the preservation and promotion of the tea ceremony practices in Japan. As the wife of the head of the Urasenke school, she contributed to the art of tea and expanded its influence both domestically and internationally. Sen Tomiko passed away on March 9, 1999, leaving a legacy in traditional Japanese tea culture.
