Vítězslav Mokroš was a Czech sports commentator, editor, and announcer, active from 1914 to 1968. He served as the first director of the Ostrava Television Studio from 1958 to 1961 and worked at Czechoslovak Radio in Ostrava. Mokroš is noted for his commentary at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki and the Winter Olympics in Oslo. He co-directed and appeared in documentary films about the 1952 Olympics, although they were destroyed due to floods in 1997.
