Կարպիս Մուրատեան (also known as Փերճ) was an Armenian chronicler, translator, publicist, and editor. Born on December 15, 1924, in Kadikoy, Istanbul, Turkey, he became known for his contributions to Armenian literature and journalism. Murotian dedicated his life to the preservation and promotion of Armenian culture and history. He passed away on September 22, 2019. His legacy continues to inspire future generations of Armenian writers and intellectuals.
