Mарк Борисович Крупкин (1921–2010) was a Soviet military officer and journalist, who served as the general director and editor-in-chief of the publishing house 'Veterans of Special Services'. He advanced from a soldier to a colonel in state security and held various roles within the KGB and other security agencies. Kruptkin started his service in the artillery school and participated in WWII as a pyrotechnician. After the USSR's dissolution, he founded a publishing house focusing on veterans of intelligence services.
