Alexander Grigorievich Rakov (October 9, 1947 – September 17, 2018) was a Russian Orthodox writer, publicist, and journalist. He was a member of the Union of Writers of Russia and served as the chief editor of the nationwide newspaper 'Orthodox Saint Petersburg' from 1993 until his passing in 2018. He was also involved with several other newspapers including 'Sobornaya Vest', 'Gornitsa', 'Rule of Faith', and 'Chadushki'.
