Natela Mamforia (August 3, 1925 – December 13, 2008) was a Georgian physician, scientist, and educator. Born in Tbilisi, she graduated from the Tbilisi State Medical Institute in 1948. She worked as a junior researcher from 1953 to 1958 and progressed to senior researcher until 1986, eventually becoming the head of the anatomy department until her death in 2008. She authored 70 scientific papers, including significant monographs on uterine and liver blood vessels, and made notable contributions to anatomical nomenclature.
