Metropolitan Agapit, born Oleg Aleksandrovich Zimaev on January 23, 1961, in Kalinin, is a bishop of the Orthodox Russian Church (Kiriak). He has served in various capacities within the church, including as a monk, priest, and eventually as a metropolitan. He was appointed bishop in 2005 and elevated to metropolitan in 2007. After a contested incident involving a fellow cleric in 2016, he was acquitted of charges against him. Agapit has participated in several ordinations and has recognized canonical lines from various Orthodox church jurisdictions.
