He founded the Experimental Dietetics Department and worked as a researcher at IKEM in Prague. Born on August 20, 1918, in Pardubice, he developed a contrast diet aimed at reducing overweight and contributed significantly to the field of dietetics before his passing on December 26, 1983, in Prague.
