Parmananthan 'Prema' Naidoo, born on May 30, 1945, is a South African politician affiliated with the African National Congress. He was a prominent anti-apartheid activist in the 1970s and faced imprisonment and torture. Following his release, he helped establish the United Democratic Front and later held senior positions in Johannesburg's local government until his retirement in 2016. Currently, he serves on the board of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, advocating for social justice and equality.
