Preben Nybo Andersen (February 3, 1926 – February 1, 2018) was a Danish politician from the Venstre party who served as the mayor of Allerød Municipality from 1988 to 1993. He became known as the 'mayor of culture' for his role in founding the Allerød Art Association and the theater group Dr. Dante. In the early 1990s, he was one of the initiators of Allerød Flygtningevenner, which aimed to support Balkan refugees. Andersen left Venstre in 2015 in protest against the party's immigration policies.
