Poul Nesgaard, born on June 19, 1952, in Frederiksberg, is a Danish journalist, speaker, and the rector of the Danish Film School from 1992 to 2014. He worked at Danmarks Radio from 1968 to 1992 and has held board positions at the Danish Film Institute and TV 2. Known for his unique role as a TV host in 'Jul og grønne skove', he received the Christian Kryger Prize in 1982 and was appointed Knight of Dannebrog in 1999.
