Poul Erik Pedersen (1947-2012) was a Danish economist and managing director of METRO Cash & Carry Denmark. He served as the chairman of Dansk Handel & Service from 1995 until 2007 when it merged with HTSi to become Dansk Erhverv. Pedersen held degrees from Niels Brock and the University of Copenhagen and worked in various roles in the public and private sectors, including leadership positions in FDB and as regional director. He was also politically active in Radikal Ungdom and other organizations, and was a Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog.
