Plácido Galindo (9 March 1906 – 22 October 1988) was a Peruvian football player known for his role as a midfielder. He spent his entire career at Universitario de Deportes and represented Peru in the 1930 FIFA World Cup held in Uruguay, playing in matches against Romania and Uruguay, both of which ended in losses. Galindo is notably remembered for being the first player to be sent off in World Cup history after he fouled Romanian forward Lazlo Raftinsky during a match.
