George Philip Chorley Crosfield OBE was an influential Anglican priest known for his extensive ministry during the latter half of the 20th century. Educated at prestigious institutions, he served in the Royal Artillery during WWII before his ordination in 1952. Crosfield held various roles across notable churches and schools, including as Provost of St Mary's Cathedral, founder of St. Mary's Music School, and creator of the St. Mary's Cathedral Workshop to support young apprentices. He was actively involved in church ministry even after retirement in Penicuik, near Edinburgh.
