Peter Mokaba (January 7, 1959 – June 9, 2002) was a member of the South African Parliament and served as a deputy minister in Nelson Mandela's government. He was also the president of the ANC Youth League. Mokaba is known for being a controversial figure, particularly for singing the song 'Kill the boer, kill the farmer' in the early 1990s, which has since been deemed hate speech by the South African Human Rights Commission. The Polokwane Stadium, built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, was named in his honor.
