Peter Barrington Kidd SC is an Australian jurist, born on October 4, 1965. He has been the Chief Judge of the County Court of Victoria since September 8, 2015, and a Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria since May 24, 2016. Kidd presided over the high-profile trial of Cardinal George Pell. He holds a Masters of Laws from the University of Geneva and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide. Kidd has also served as an International Prosecutor for war crimes in Bosnia and has held various roles in Victoria's Crown Prosecutors' Chambers.
