Peter Goodwin Fryer (July 2, 1928 – December 20, 1999) was a British sprinter notable for his achievements in athletics during the mid-20th century. He gained recognition at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, where he finished fourth in the 440 yards and won gold in the 4x440 yards relay with the English team. Fryer was a three-time English champion in the 440 yards from 1953 to 1955, achieving his personal best of 47.7 s, equivalent to 47.4 s for 400 m, during his final championship win.
