Miles Henry 'Peter' Easterby, born on August 5, 1929, is a retired British racehorse trainer known for his exceptional career in jump racing. He was the Champion Trainer three times and is recognized for saddling over 1,000 winners in both flat and National Hunt racing. Notable horses under his training include Saucy Kit, Alverton, Sea Pigeon, and Night Nurse. Easterby retired in February 1996 and was succeeded by his son, Tim Easterby. He was also convicted in 2009 for an offence under the Hunting Act 2004.
