Peter John Denyer (1947-2009) was an English actor renowned for his role as Dennis Dunstable in the television series Please Sir! and its spin-off The Fenn Street Gang. He portrayed a teenager despite being in his 20s and appeared in the film adaptations of Please Sir! and Never Mind the Quality, Feel the Width. Denyer also featured in TV series such as Agony and Dear John, later transitioning into producing, directing, and writing pantomimes. He passed away at 62, leaving behind a legacy in British television.
