Peter Gareth Carey (born January 27, 1954) is a former Australian rules footballer known for his impressive career with the Glenelg Football Club in the SANFL from 1971 to 1988. Nicknamed 'Super', Carey is celebrated for his agility and strong marking despite his size. He holds several records, including the SANFL games record. Carey played 423 premiership games and was a part of ten SANFL Grand finals, winning three. He was inducted into both the South Australian and Australian Football Hall of Fame and currently serves as Glenelg's club president.
