Per Torgeir Waage is a former Norwegian national bandy player born on February 11, 1958. A dedicated goalkeeper, he played his entire career for Drafn in Drammen. Waage debuted for the national team against Finland in 1979 and was a key player throughout the 1980s, earning 51 caps. He was named the world's best goalkeeper in five international tournaments and notably contributed to a memorable penalty shootout in 1970. He won the Norwegian championship with Drafn in 1991 but had to retire the following year due to knee surgery. Waage also played football as a prolific scorer for Drafn.
