Per-Olof K:son Ahl was a Swedish entrepreneur born on January 23, 1919, in Mjölby and passed away on November 2, 1996, in Gothenburg. He started his career as a traveling salesman and founded Kappaffären in 1953, which evolved into Kapp-Ahl AB, a nationwide retail chain in Sweden. He managed the company until 1986, when he handed over the responsibility to his son. Ahl also authored two books about his experiences in the fashion industry. He is buried at Örgryte gamla kyrkogård.
