Per Lindfors was a Swedish musicologist and radio personality born on August 1, 1908, in Johannes forsamling, Stockholm, and died on July 13, 1970, in Råsunda forsamling, Solna. He studied composition at the Royal College of Music from 1931 to 1933 and began working in the music department of Radiotjänst in 1933. He earned his licentiate in music history in 1938 and served as a radio curator from 1939 to 1951 and as music director from 1952 to 1954. He became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in 1952.
