Per Glad was a Norwegian journalist, editor, author, and translator born on August 16, 1918, in Stavanger. He worked for the newspaper Morgenposten and joined the Ekko publishing house in 1945, where he edited Vårt Blad and Våre Barn. Additionally, he served as the general secretary of the Riksmålsforbundet and worked as a freelance journalist and editor for Frimurerbladet. Glad contributed significantly to Norwegian literature and journalism until his passing on May 22, 1997.
