He designed Libertatis Æquilibritas, a symbol embraced by anarcho-capitalists. An activist, Bylund has organized events, including a two-year 'March for Capitalism' in Stockholm. He was a member of the Swedish Moderate Party's youth league for ten years and later became disillusioned with electoral politics, promoting abstentionism in 2002. He co-founded Anarchism.net and contributed to libertarian literature.
