Pedro Abellanas Cebollero (November 20, 1914 - July 29, 1999) was a Spanish mathematician born in Saragossa. Initially studying architecture, he switched to mathematics, obtaining his degree in 1935. During the Spanish Civil War, he served as a provisional lieutenant but was wounded and captured. After the war, he became an assistant professor at the University of Madrid and earned his doctorate in 1941. He was appointed professor of projective geometry at the University of Madrid in 1949 and was a significant figure in math education, initiating various programs and reforms until his retirement in 1984.
