Pauls Andersons was a Latvian biochemist born on September 14, 1925, and passed away on February 15, 1999. He graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Latvia in 1951. In 1953, he began teaching at the Latvia University of Agriculture, and by 1997, he became a professor. Andersons created original preparations called 'Diludins' and 'Phenibut' and received the Latvian SSR State Prize in 1977.
