Paul John Leonard Randles (1922-1979) was a South African cricketer, rugby player, and lawyer. Born in Pietermaritzburg, he played first-class cricket for Natal from 1952 to 1957, serving as wicket-keeper. Randles volunteered in World War II, was captured in Tobruk, and spent time in multiple POW camps. After the war, he studied law and became a senior partner in a law firm. His cricketing highlight was scoring 272 runs in his debut season, achieving a top score of 67. He is remembered for his contributions to both sport and law.
